Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of https://sanodesign.co and the programs offered through it. The site is operated by Spriha Shrestha, doing business as Sano Design. By using the site you agree to these Terms.

2. The site

Sano Design presents lab-grown diamond jewelry, accepts custom-jewelry inquiries, and lets you join a founding list for launch news. The site does not display prices: every piece is quoted individually. Availability and lead times shown on the site are indicative and may change.

3. Where we ship

We ship worldwide. Prices are quoted in US dollars, and payment is taken in US dollars.

Once your order arrives in its destination country, you are responsible for any duties, import taxes, and customs charges required to release the parcel. These vary by order value and destination, and are collected by the carrier or the customs authority, not by us. We cannot estimate them for you before you order, but we will tell you what we know if you ask.

4. Product information

All of our diamonds are lab-grown. Handmade pieces vary slightly, and photographs cannot show colour and scale perfectly. Materials, sizing, and care are described on our FAQ page. Where the FAQ and these Terms differ, these Terms govern.

5. Orders and quotes

A custom inquiry or cart submission is a request for a quote, not a binding order. We quote each piece individually and send the quote to you in writing, stating the price, any tax we are required to collect, shipping, the expected lead time, and — for a piece you could later cancel — what it would cost you to return it.

An order exists only once you pay the invoice we send you — for custom work, the first of the two invoices described below. Quotes and invoices expire seven days after they are sent unless we tell you otherwise, because a piece may sell in the meantime.

6. Payment

We invoice you by email. Payment is taken on a page hosted by our payment processor; we never receive or store your full payment-card details. All amounts are in US dollars.

Custom projects are invoiced in two parts: 50% to begin the design and sourcing process, and the remaining 50% due before shipment. Any sales tax we are required to collect appears as a separate line on the invoice.

7. Refunds, returns, and cancellation

This section describes the returns we offer voluntarily. It never reduces the rights the law gives you where you live — see the two sections that follow.

Custom projects cannot be returned because you changed your mind: they are made to your specification, and we cannot resell them. That is not the same as saying you have no remedy. If a piece arrives faulty, damaged, materially different from what we agreed, or late, contact us — your legal rights to a repair, a replacement, or a refund are unaffected, and so is our one-year warranty.

Unless otherwise noted, unworn ready-to-ship rings are eligible for return. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, then return the piece within one week using a shipping label we provide. A 5% restocking fee is deducted from the refund. We reserve the right to reject a return that is not in new condition.

8. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK

You have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Where it applies, it replaces the 48-hour window and the 5% restocking fee above: we charge no restocking or handling fee, and we refund the price together with the standard delivery you paid — up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery we offer.

The right does not apply to a piece genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised. That turns on what was actually made for you, not on what we call the order: a ready-to-ship piece in a standard size is not exempt merely because we describe it as custom.

To cancel, just tell us clearly — an email to us saying so is enough, and you do not have to use any particular form or wording. Tell us within 14 days of receiving the piece, then send it back within 14 days of telling us. We refund within 14 days of getting the piece back, or of your proof of return, whichever comes first, using the same payment method you used.

Because these pieces cannot safely go by ordinary post, we send you an insured, tracked, signature-required return label, and its cost is deducted from your refund. We tell you what that cost will be in your quote, before you pay anything, so you can decide with the number in front of you. We may also reduce a refund to reflect any loss in the piece's value caused by handling it beyond what is needed to establish its nature and characteristics — the sort of inspection you could make in a shop.

9. Your rights are not reduced by these Terms

Wherever you live, nothing in these Terms takes away a right your local consumer law gives you. Where that law grants you more than these Terms do, it applies and prevails.

10. Shipping, delivery, and risk of loss

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. US orders ship via FedEx Priority Overnight and international orders via FedEx International Priority. Shipping cost is included on your invoice. All parcels are insured, tracked, and require a signature on delivery.

We ship to the delivery address you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy of that address, and we cannot redirect a parcel once it is in transit. Risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is delivered to that address.

11. Warranty

Sano Design guarantees the integrity of all jewelry for one year from the purchase date. Should repairs be needed at any point, contact us and we will provide a quote for the repair, shipping labels, and return instructions.

Resizing or repairing your jewelry at a local jeweler voids this warranty.

12. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, submit someone else's contact details without their permission, send spam, scrape content, or interfere with the security or availability of the site.

13. Intellectual property

The Sano Design name, designs, photography, and written content are owned by Spriha Shrestha and may not be reproduced without permission. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the business without obligation to you.

14. Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms as the business changes. The date above shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
